Who we Are
In 2007, as the housing market was crashing Justin and Jennifer Bajema were buying up single family homes and turning into rentals. After getting a few under their belt, they began to look for a company to manage their investments. They quickly realized they were not impressed with the lack of truly professional property management companies in Grand Rapids that executed with consistent results. Thus, Access Property Management Group, LLC was started.
Unit by unit, they grew the company, hired employees and together the team developed a successful and professional property management company which today manages over 700 rental units in the West Michigan area.
We eat, breath and sleep property management on a daily basis. We are focused on getting the absolute best bang for your buck. We are a lean, mean, property management machine (ok, maybe not so mean). It's been a blast and together we've built a pretty awesome property management system that we're really proud of!
Eddie Beekman
Property Solutions Manager + Educator
Eddie has been enjoying Grand Rapids and all it has to offer for nearly 20 years. During that time, he has been serving the community in the areas of real estate, property management, building, and maintenance.
In 1997 his property management career began working at a student housing complex In Allendale collecting rent, placing students and showing apartments.
After joining the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves in 1997, he was called to active duty in January 2003 and returned from Djibouti, Africa late that year.
In 2004 he received both his Real Estate and Builders License. He then acquired his Real Estate Brokers License in 2011.
During the housing boom of 2005, he flipped homes in his free time. After a few years of flips and rehabs, he purchased his first rental homes to hold long term in 2007 on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids.
In 2010, Eddie joined Access Property Management Group and they have been working together since.
Aaron Treloar
Property Solutions Manager + Spreadsheet Whiz
I moved to Kalamazoo in 2002 while attending Western Michigan University and have been involved in real estate and property management since graduating in 2005.
I began my real estate investing journey in 2014 by purchasing my first single family rental property in Kalamazoo and I currently own 5 rental units.
I served on the board of the Kalamazoo Area Rental Housing Association for 3 years in the roles of Secretary in 2015 and Treasurer in 2016-2017. This was a great experience that allowed me to make new relationships with local and new investors in the Kalamazoo market.
I really enjoy meeting new investors and talking to investors of all experience levels. It’s a win-win when I can listen and learn from their unique experiences and help them solve their problems when I can.

Jennifer Bajema
Co-Founder + Educator
My entire professional adult life has been in real estate. My real estate career started with taking Real Estate Economics classes from Grand Valley State University. I started interning with another property management company and obtained my real estate license.
In 2007, before we were married, I was analyzing investment properties and walking through homes with Justin as dates. As the market was crashing, Justin and I were buying up properties, starting a property management company, and planning a wedding.
Throughout the growth of ourselves and our company, I have worked in every part of Access from showing units and scheduling maintenance to managing employees and building out systems and processes. Today my focus is on educating real estate investors and helping clients navigate the investment world. You won’t get a call from me, but you can read my blogs and watch the videos I edit and post.
I love the amount of personal development that being a business owner has allowed in my life. I read books, attend conferences and soak up any knowledge I can find. I am a mom, a runner, an investor, an adventure seeker and avid traveler.
